Dating back to 1690, the construction of Stoke Place was commissioned by royal chef Patrick Lamb. Situated within 26 acres of dreamy parkland featuring gardens landscaped by Capability Brown, couples will have the perfect backdrop for photographs, making memories to treasure forever.

Inside, beautiful fairy tale features include antique chandeliers and a sweeping staircase, allowing brides to make a truly stylish entrance.

Weddings  for  parties  of  20  to  200  guests  can  be  accommodated  all-year-round,  expertly planned  by  the  venue’s  experienced  weddings  manager.  Only  one  wedding  is  hosted  per day,  meaning  you’ll  have  the  team’s  full  dedication.

Every  element  of  weddings  at  Stoke  Place  is  customisable however  royal  the  request,  from the  ceremony  to  the  wedding  banquet,  whether  a  three,  four  or  five  course  menu.

The Majestic Hotel, Harrogate

This grand Victorian property isn’t just majestic by name. It can be found in the quaint spa town of Harrogate, and dates back to the 18th century.

No stranger to royal occasions, the hotel has hosted a number of esteemed guests from Prince Henry of Prussia to the Maharajah of Patiala, as well as a Russian grand duchesses.

Set amidst acres of picture-perfect landscaped gardens, wedding guests will be impressed from the moment they arrive, continuing through to the venue itself. Ceremonies for up to 300 guests can be accommodated, with a selection of function rooms for more intimate occasions also available, including an open air terrace.

All weddings are catered by the hotel’s award-winning Majestic Restaurant, as the first meal as a married couple should be memorable for all of the right reasons, which is why predesigned and bespoke menus fit for a king and queen are available.

An additional perk is the hotel’s spa, where prior to the big day the bridal party can take time out to enjoy some treatments in the serene Orchid Room.

Royal Station Hotel, Newcastle

This romantic and historic city centre property was officially opened by Queen Victoria in 1858. Since then it has been visited by celebrities and VIPs, from Laurel and Hardy to professional boxer Muhammad Ali.

Brides will love the glimmering statement chandelier which sits above a focal staircase, presenting the ultimate backdrop for that all-important final photograph as a ‘Miss’.

The hotel’s opulent suites can cater for wedding parties of varying sizes and are licensed to hold civil ceremonies, meaning the whole day can take place under the roof of one spectacular venue. From smaller, intimate gatherings to large, grand events, a dedicated wedding planner can help to shape the perfect day.

Tie the knot in one of five function rooms depending on personal preference and party size. Located on the ground floor, the Victoria Suite can cater to 130 guests for a wedding breakfast or meal, and up to 200 guests for the wedding reception, complete with its own bar and dance floor.
