The Majestic Hotel, Harrogate

In keeping with the hotel’s stunning Victorian history, The Majestic Hotel’s afternoon tea offering has been created in honour of Queen Victoria herself. Set in the spa town of Harrogate, enjoy overlooking the hotel’s stunning grounds during your sitting.

Set upon a tiered cake stand you’ll find a selection of finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones with clotted cream, jam and curds. To top it all off, you can tuck into a selection of traditional cakes, which go down especially well with a pot of tea of your choice. If you’re more of a fan of savory rather than sweet, a savory afternoon tea is also available.

The Old Ship Hotel, Brighton

Treat yourself to tea by the sea at The Old Ship Hotel in Brighton, which has been designed to pay tribute to good friend to Queen Victoria Anna Maria Russell. Overlooking the famous seafront, you’ll find yourself gazing across the coastline whilst indulging.

Comprising a collection of savory and sweet offerings including homemade pastries, why not upgrade and sip some fizz alongside your three-tier stand, and make this occasion a special one.

Redworth Hall Hotel, County Durham

Served daily from midday until late afternoon, indulge in Redworth Hall Hotel’s full afternoon tea. Set within its own private land, enjoy with a view and take in the scenery around you.

You’ll be served a selection of finger sandwiches, cakes, scones and tea or coffee. Traditional sandwich fillings include egg and cress, cheese and caramelised red onion, smoked salmon and cucumber and more. The Angel Hotel, Cardiff

Situated in the centre of Cardiff, opposite Cardiff Castle, The Angel Hotel is home to Castell’s Restaurant. Pop in, and expect exceptional food and service, to really add the cherry on top of your day.

The hotel’s scrumptious afternoon tea entails three tiers including delicate finger sandwiches, warm fruit and plain scones with clotted cream and jam, as well as a selection of traditional cakes and bakes.

Royal Station Hotel, Newcastle

Afternoon tea at Saint George’s Hotel is a firm favorite, and can be enjoyed overlooking the West End from the 15th floor in the Heights Restaurant and Lounge – the perfect way to take a break from shopping on nearby Oxford Street.
